The point of rotation is where the shape is rotated around. Changing the point of rotation changes where the final position will be.

The shape itself will rotate by the number of degrees shown in the direction shown. The number of degrees will also change where the final position will be.

Clockwise rotation is in the direction of the the hands on a clock.

Counter clockwise rotation is in the opposite direction of the the hands on a clock. It is also known as anticlockwise.

Try and predict the rotation and where the final position will be using the paler shape before pressing SHOW to see if you are correct.
